Initially formed as a club for FSA FLEX Armenian alumni, YFA has now grown into a developed non-governmental organization with an efficiently functioning structure.

The supreme governing body of the Organization is the General Assembly of Members.

The executive body of the Organization is the Executive Board, which is elected for a two-year term by a majority vote of the General Assembly. The Executive Board is comprised of the following seven members: President, Vice President and five board members responsible for Financial Affairs, Legal Affairs, Members Relations, Project Development and Public Relations.

The Executive Board supervises implementation of ongoing projects as well as coordinates all activity within the Organization. The Executive Board is also responsible for development and realizing of policies and strategies consistent with the Mission and Goals of the Organization, as well as actual development needs of the country.Advisory Body is represented by founder members of the Organization.

Permanent staff conducts daily activities and operations of the Organization. Work of the permanent staff is supervised by the Executive Board.
